Since the great "End to End" bike ride of 2004, Darren has continued to be at the peak of physical fitness with regular trips to the watering holes of Whaley Bridge, no matter what the weather throws at him.
The way he drops what he's doing, no matter how important it is, to come to the pub & throw loads of ale down his neck is truly inspirational. He is an example to us all and will probably be a lifesaver to numerous pubs along the route.
I can only hope & pray that Jamie, Simon & Tim have followed his example as this ride is much more arduous and will require the comsumption of a lot more beer & bacon butties.
You have been warned...
Good luck to you all (and to Bob & the Landy)

Mere words cannot express just how proud we are - Sir Bhab, you shall be known forever more as Sir Bhab, Master Chef 2006 and we are highly privileged to know you.
Those 4 blokes on the bikes are doing quite good too.

Anyway, is it just me or is this 'roundthegrounds' thing just a thin disguise for a marathon pub crawl on bikes, looking at the photos you've posted it appears that even lunch cannot pass bye without a four pack of Carling on the table !, I wasn't aware it had Isotonic value, I thought it just made you p*ss.
Keep up the good work and we'll tag along with you next week on the way back 'Up North'
We're proud of you all, yes even you Piss Boy.

Thanks for the opportunity of a great day out chaps espacially to Bob in his trusty Landy as without the overpowering smell of petrol fumes it just wouldn't have been the adventure it was. Fish and chips were great especilly watching Mr Bradbury remove the batter just to remove the skin (Fussy sod).
Keep up the good work and Bob, just remember, when you arrive in a dead end again and there's a broked bollard just drive over it. Just think of how much time we saved.
I would also like to thank Simon's mum in the wonderful cake she lovingly baked. MMMMMMMMMM
Cheers guys
