A quick update on Dazzlin's strict training regime... Since the great "End to End" bike ride of 2004, Darren has continued to be at the peak of physical fitness with regular trips to the watering holes of Whaley Bridge, no matter what the weather throws at him. The way he drops what he's doing, no matter how important it is, to come to the pub & throw loads of ale down his neck is truly inspirational. He is an example to us all and will probably be a lifesaver to numerous pubs along the route. I can only hope & pray that Jamie, Simon & Tim have followed his example as this ride is much more arduous and will require the comsumption of a lot more beer & bacon butties. You have been warned... Good luck to you all (and to Bob & the Landy) Jaine xxx

Jamie - just had a look at the site and what you are about to do, and wanted to wish you all good luck. Reading your profile and seeing your pictures brought a tear to my eye again as it brings back the memories from 2004 when you were diagnosed. You have an amazing strength that got you through your treatment and gave Chell and your family the hope that they needed. Your photographs really are a true reflection on how much you love life for those that dont know you, although it is slightly worrying that you enjoy dressing up!!!! Wishing each of you lots of luck. See you soon, Em & Dave xxx

We the round the grounds adjudicators believe that as Sunderland have already been relegated from the Premiership they no longer constitute a Premiership club; also Sheffield United and Reading have already been promoted making them Premiership clubs. For the adjudicating panel to validate the challenge and to legally allow the collection of sponsorship money it has been forced upon us to make you visit Reading first then the London clubs before riding north to Sheffield before coming back south to Portsmouth. Sorry for any inconvenience and a map will be provided asap.

Why did Timmsy fall off his tricycle. 1) The stabilisers on Timmsys tricycle fell off. 2) Because the support bolt broke. 3) Because the load applied to the tricycle was well above the S.W.L. 4) Because although vertically challanged Timmsys body mass index is off the scale. 5) Because of the excessive intake of Lager, Kebabs, and cream cakes. Keep going from the lads working at IBC and us!!!!!!!!!!

Can I just applaud your decision to vote Sir Bhab's potato water thickened 'moist' bit above Brad's caremelised onion sludge on Wednesday, as aware as I am with Brad's Ramsay like skills in the kitchen it's nice to see a bit of 'Up North' has rubbed off on The Great Sir Bhab and his in depth knowledge of gravy shone through, (point of interest Brad, the master himself Gary Rhodes says, and I quote from Gary Rhodes New British Classics Page 50 ONION GRAVY "It is very important that the onion does not burn as this will create a bitter taste....", shame on you Piss Boy) Anyway, is it just me or is this 'roundthegrounds' thing just a thin disguise for a marathon pub crawl on bikes, looking at the photos you've posted it appears that even lunch cannot pass bye without a four pack of Carling on the table !, I wasn't aware it had Isotonic value, I thought it just made you p*ss. Keep up the good work and we'll tag along with you next week on the way back 'Up North' We're proud of you all, yes even you Piss Boy. PS Is Sir Bhab available for catering at functions ?

It was lovely to see you last night Simon but mummy didn't like the badly grazed elbow it did look painful are you sure you don't want me to meet you with some elbow protectors. Seriously though it was nice to see you and Jamie and meet Jamie's family. I find it hard to believe you have cycled all that way when it takes us all that time in the car! Well done to you all and not forgetting Sir Bhab keeping you all going what a friend eh. Take Care Love you loads. another mummy down South

Hi Guys Thanks for the opportunity of a great day out chaps espacially to Bob in his trusty Landy as without the overpowering smell of petrol fumes it just wouldn't have been the adventure it was. Fish and chips were great especilly watching Mr Bradbury remove the batter just to remove the skin (Fussy sod). Keep up the good work and Bob, just remember, when you arrive in a dead end again and there's a broked bollard just drive over it. Just think of how much time we saved. I would also like to thank Simon's mum in the wonderful cake she lovingly baked. MMMMMMMMMM Cheers guys Damo

The cat still bites Brad. I was learning to ride my bike without stabilisers andn I can almost do it, I only rode and fell into the floeers in Nanny's garden twice today.

Just a quick one as I am at work. I really wanted to say that what you are doing really is quite amazing, the lengths you are all prepared to go to in order to raise money and support a very worthwhile cause is incredible and certainly no mean feat. I know this whole bike ride thing is possible causing a bit of friction at home for you but remember that Jen is carrying your second child and despite everything, loves you very much and i'm sure is as proud of you as the rest of the family. I am constantly telling people about your trip and everytime time I get the same response - 'wow!' This is something you will remember forever brother, so enjoy it Simon and remember, we all love you very much and cannot wait to see you. xxxxx

Darren - you are obviously missed in your local, we haven't seen you for 2 weeks and their profits have taken a nose dive. However we'll only allow you back in if you PROMISE not to show us your arse again - I still have nightmares after the view of your butt cheeks, shown to ALL the early doors crowd in the Goyt, when you returned from your stag do... On the plus side, it has been lovely and quiet in the Goyt without you. Keep peddling and we'll see you all very soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
